Where you start doesn't decide where you finish.
The woman
Lou lost her mother at eleven. She never knew her father. She grew up in a broken home and learned to survive long before she learned to belong.
Grief became the place her faith took root. In her mid-twenties she finally met the father she had never known, and she began to understand that losing people doesn't make you any less wanted. Today she stands in front of audiences as living proof that grief can become grace.
Signature talk
The Song After the Silence
A keynote about loss, belonging and the healing that comes after. Lou tells her story of grief to grace and sings the moments that words can't carry. It's for anyone who has lost a parent, grown up without one, or quietly wondered whether they belong anywhere. Faith runs through it, and everyone is welcome in the room.
